Pre3Montes Playgroup environment provides a range of graduated activities that suit the unfolding developmental stages of children aged 0-4. Children can pursue tasks at their own pace and independently with just a little help from Mum or Dad. Careful understanding of the development of infants enables us to create a place that meets their needs. It is a parent-infant community facilitated by a Montessori Playgroup Leader where young children can engage in activities that assist their psychomotor skills, language acquisition, growing independence, and their understanding of the world. Our 2013 fees are $140 per term per child (siblings under 9 months of age attend free of charge). It is on average a ten week term with morning tea, craft, cooking etc included in the price. Baby Signing reduces frustration and crying, aids communication and develops early speech. Fired! Ceramic Cafe is the perfect place to meet with family and friends and relax and have fun while you paint your own pottery. With a large selection of pieces, an extensive cafe menu and a secure play area, you can capture your little ones prints on a piece for gifts or bring your older children along to create their own artwork. Once you are finished you leave your items with us to glaze and fire and then come back and collect a functional piece that can be used everyday. We are open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am - 5pm and Sundays for group reservations and parties.

The Swim Schools at Ocean Reef and Merriwa are open 7 days a week. Morning and afternoon swimming lessons are run from Monday to Friday and weekends have morning time slots. Small 30 min classes allow for better interaction and learning with ongoing assessments to ensure that children move up at their own pace rather than by term. We cater for children as young as 4 months old right up to school age children. Our pool is privately owned, a warm 32 degrees all year round and is purpose built meaning our patrons are swimming lesson clientele only. Change rooms with change tables, toilets and showers are also located onsite and our prices are very competitive. All our instructors are Austswim trained and all classes are endorsed by Royal Life Saving. Our lessons run all year and are not term based, however we also run special school holiday programs. Our swim shop has a range of swimming accessories to suit your little swimmers needs and we run monthly colouring in competitions complete with prizes.
