Situated in a quiet spot on the edge of industrial Malaga is Full Of Fun, a multi-level play centre and cafe for babies and kids.

At the front of the centre, you will find a dedicated under 5's area, near the cafe. This features a ball pit, a merry-go-round, soft foam blocks, a selection of toys, and a slide with a tunnel underneath. There is also a colourful castle with slides, steps and tunnels. Miss 3 loved the bouncy horsey ride.

Tables and chairs are set up surrounding the toddler/preschooler area, so you could enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat while your little one happily plays. There's lots of high chairs available for littler ones.

The cafe serves coffees, cold drinks, and the usual kids favourites like chips and nuggets, fairy bread and babycinos, and food like hamburgers or chips and calamari rings for grown ups.

Further toward the rear of the centre is a block room, and cars and ride on toys. The block room has some padded seats for adult, and several boxes of Megablox for kids to get their build on. There were a few other toy cars and trucks in this area too, and it is recommended for all ages. Miss 3 particularly loved an airplane ride on.

Adjacent to the block room is the 5+ age area. While it is recommended for over 5s, younger children are welcome to explore on the quieter weekdays. This section spans over two levels, but is mostly upstairs, and has three slides, two of which drop into a large ball pit.

The upper level has obstacles to climb over and through. At the top of the stairs, we found a Superhero pad for running and jumping on. There are rope webs and padded bags, and a small climbing wall to climb over and through.

Part of the upper level features an open sports space to kick balls around. Great for sporty older kids who may feel they're too old for play centres.

Upstairs also features some padded tunnels to crawl through, some lighted and some not. Miss 3 was not a fan. She managed to get herself over to a darker section, got scared and become upset, and had to be talked and helped down. So, if you can, if you're feeling agile, it may be best to go up with littler ones.

A party room is located at the very back of the centre. This is huge and bright, and hosts a playgroup three times a week with all welcome to join in, costing just $12 per child for a session. Playgroup sessions run from 10am to 12pm on Monday and Wednesday, and from 9.30am to 11.30am Thursday. This includes kids crafts and unlimited play afterwards.

Birthday party packages are available from $160. This includes party room hire, party food, party room set up and party hosting. Meals cost $20 per child aged between 1 and 12 years, with kids under 1 year catered for at $5 per child, or free if you bring your own baby food.

Overall, it's a neat play centre with lots for younger kids to do. Miss 3 and her friend, Master 3, especially enjoyed the cars, the slides and the under 5 area at the front, playing happily for a good couple of hours. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome on arrival.

I felt the centre was fairly secure, with each play area, apart from the block room, closed off with a mag-lock gate, as well as one at the front door. A good spot for a play inside for a couple of hours on a wet day or in air-conditioning on a hot summer day.

Full Of Fun is located at 7 Townsend Street, Malaga. Free parking is available at the front and rear of the play centre.

Full Of Fun is open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 2pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Sunday 11 to 5pm.

Entry costs $8 per child aged 1-4 years, and $12 per child aged 5-12 years. Children under 1 year old are free. Look out on the Full of Fun Facebook page for Toddler Tuesday discounts.
