Karen is Mum of one very active 9 month old boy and a needy four year old Shar-Pei dog! Although she is a Perth girl, Karen spent four years on the East Coast working on a community development project for young people, where she met the Bearded American! After getting married they spent three years in the USA, before she finally convinced him that Perth was the place to be. She's been back on WA soil for a while now and isn't planning on leaving again anytime soon. They love living in the Freo area and in her spare time (wait, what's that again?) she's a big fan of crafty, creative ventures, especially embroidery.

Alison has spent the past 12 years working in marketing for professional services. She is a Perth girl, born and bred but in 2008 succumbed to the travel bug and relocated to London with her husband Michael to face life in one of the busiest cities in the world and get some international experience. After a couple of years of living and working overseas and travelling throughout Europe it was time for her to head back to the ‘city of lights’ and settle down. From life in South West London to Guildford, the gateway to the Swan Valley, Alison can now truly appreciate all that sunny Perth has to offer and she's here to stay! CJ is a first time Mum in her mid 30's who moved to Perth less than a year ago with her husband and now 15 month old daughter. She holds down a full time Sales & Marketing role & her husband is working on a FIFO roster up in the mines. Life has really turned upside down since having a baby and relocating to another country all in the same year! So far CJ & her family are thoroughly enjoying finding their way around & taking advantage of all that Perth has to offer for families. Between working and spending as much quality time as possible with family, CJ has aspirations to get back into Roller Derby and plans to do some part time study on her favourite topic - Social Media!

Alisha moved to from California almost a year ago with her husband's job. She has three children; McKinley, Everest, and Hagen, all named after mountain peaks. McKinley is 11 and is a self proclaimed, "soccer playing, singing sensation." Everest is 9 and prefers climbing, jumping, and running rather than team sports. Hagen is a 2 year old that keeps them all young and makes them go just a little bit bananas. Their family pet is a mini lop bunny named Flip Flop that rules her domain in their backyard. As if things aren't crazy enough around their home, she is set to hopefully have bunnies of her own next month. As for Alisha, she's the one who plans all the "fun" for the crew. She has a graduate degree that she hopes to use outside the home again one day, but for now all her wisdom is used up at home raising the kids. I grew up in the lovely and leafy suburb of Kalamunda in Perth. I met and married my husband and we decided to move to the east coast of Australia. I have now been blessed with four wonderful children, who make me incredibly busy, but I really wouldn't have it any other way. I love to blog about managing a large family, what we all get up to in a typical day and also living happily on a fairly tight budget. With two girls who are 8 and 9 and two boys who are 2 and 4, life is never dull.
