Playgroup WA currently has more than 15,000 families enjoy the benefits of Playgroup in sessions operating from Esperance to Kununurra, from Leonora to Lancelin and throughout the Perth metropolitan area. Playgroup WA has more than 500 member Playgroups waiting for you to join.

So what is a Playgroup WA? A Playgroup is a group of parents and caregivers who meet with their children and babies in a relaxed and friendly environment. Each session is usually 2 hours long and each Playgroup is run by the families that attend.

Some Playgroups are structured and follow a set routine each session while others operate on a more fluid base. Some Playgroups consist of only the one session while other Playgroups can have over 20 sessions running each week.

Playgroup WA gives children an opportunity to:
·       have fun
·       make new friends, and
·       develop new skills through informal play.

Playgroup WA provides parents and carers with:
 ·       an opportunity to meet other parents and carers,
 ·       make friends, and
 ·       share ideas and experiences.

	Perth Montessori Burswood Pre3Montes Playgroup environment provides a range of graduated activities that suit the unfolding developmental stages of children aged 0-4.  Children can pursue tasks at their own pace and independently with just a little help from Mum or Dad.  Careful understanding of the development of infants enables us to create a place that meets their needs. It is a parent-infant community facilitated by a Montessori Playgroup Leader where young children can engage in activities that assist their psychomotor skills, language acquisition, growing independence, and their understanding of the world.
