Adventure World is open again for the 2016/17 season and what a way to ring in the new year of thrills and spills with their annual Adventure World Fright Night!

Guaranteed to enrapture the littlest of monsters to the more mature ghouls amongst us, there is plenty on offer for all ages and what better way to celebrate all things wickedly Halloween than a night out at Adventure World.

Adventure World Fright Nights

What’s on offer? Spooky thrill rides, awesome entertainment, walking dead and living DJ’s, best dressed competitions, amazing giveaways and even a graveyard bar for Mums and Dads! But be warned, this truly is a “Fright Night”. Parents with young ones or children who are sensitive to things that go bump in the night may want to steer clear of the very real to life walking dead. Some will wave, some will eerily smile and some will even extend a high five, but all of them are very authentic and dedicated to their craft. Good news is they don’t enter the Dragons Kingdom, but they really are amazing to watch, especially while waiting in the line to get in.

Adventure World Fright Nights

The Dragons Kingdom we have all come to know and love has been transformed into the Kreepy Kingdom for families with young ones 10 years and under.

Adventure World Fright Nights

Plenty of entertainment including Donica the Witch who was there to entertain all the little spooks with Halloween grooving and games like I scream for Icecream, the Great Mummy Wrap and Monster Playdoh which my daughter could not keep away from!

Adventure World Fright Nights

Don’t forget to dress the family up in Halloween attire as there is a $300 Adventure World Gift Card giveaway for the best dressed and every entrant gets a treat too! There is also a best dressed comp for guests 10 years and over. Just take a snap that night in a creepy costume and post on social media using #awfrightnights AND tag @adventureworldperth before 10pm for the chance to win $500 Adventure World gift card. #justnoclownsplease

Adventure World Fright Nights

If you have time why not get the family to carve a Jack-o-lantern pumpkin to take along for judging on the night and another chance to win a $250 Adventure World gift card.

Be sure to get there by 6pm as the fun only lasts until 8pm for mini-monsters at Kreepy Kingdom.

Adventure World Fright Nights

The fun doesn’t end there with plenty of entertainment and scares around every corner. Pack your usual Adventure World rug and be sure to stake your claim on the main lawn or aptly named, Tiki Terror. If you dare to venture out there was Glo-gear on offer and check out the Little Shop of Horrors too with plenty of Halloween treats and the opportunity to be made up as realistically as the staff.

Adventure World Fright Nights

Get ready for lots of spooky pop up acts and random lurking creatures around every corner, ready to freak the family right out! Even the life guards patrolling the waters were impressively decked out in character.

Adventure World Fright Nights

If you can negotiate babysitting duties with your significant other there is the very cool foggy Graveyard bar (with an actual graveyard) with its own entertainment of circus performers and a DJ (with a pulse) tearing up the tunes for over 18 groovers. The entertainment was extraordinary as was the “ringmaster” compare.

Adventure World Fright Nights

The Thrill Zone was in full throttle for those brave enough (not me) to enter with the ever charming walking dead loitering around and scaring the solids out of everyone (yes me). Totally transformed to a zombie rave of sorts, it was a delightfully apocalyptic sight to see with all your favourite rides (not mine) including the Kraken, Abyss, Black Widow and the Rampage to be experienced in the pitch blackness of night! Horrifyingly awesome for the thrill seekers and utterly entertaining for those who like to keep their feet on the ground!!

The Adventure World Fright Night team have seriously gone to great lengths to ensure its patrons get the full Halloween experience with something for all ages. It really was like stepping onto a movie set. Quite extraordinary and a definite must for all Halloween fans.
