ANZAC Day on Rottnest Island

On ANZAC Day, Rottnest Island commemorates all those who have served their country with a special dawn service set to a picturesque backdrop of the sun rising over the Indian Ocean and Thomson Bay – a view that is truly unique to Rottnest. Following the service, enjoy a free breakfast in the Settlement Mall, live music and ANZAC-themed activities for kids at Heritage Common. Why not book to join a tour of the restored World War II gun and tunnels at Oliver Hill? Early morning ferries will be departing from Hillarys and Fremantle.

ANZAC Day Frisbee Golf

Where: Motivate Invigorate Recreate, Glengarry Park, Duncraig
When: Wednesday, 25 April, 9am to 12pm.

Join us this ANZAC day for a family fun event. Frisbee Golf can be played at any age with no prior skills or ability necessary. Takes usually around 1 – 1.5 hours to complete the 9 holes. BYO morning tea to munch on whilst we give out prizes. Teams of 4-6 can play a round of Frisbee Golf and support our local charity at the same time. If you don’t have a team – we will find you a team. All are welcome – invite your friends along! $5 per adult or $15 for a family team.

York’s ANZAC Stories – Remembering Them

Where: York Town Hall, York

Walk in the footsteps of York’s ANZACS and their families through this major Exhibition commemorating the people of York in WW1. This exhibit features a contemporary art exhibition as well as a soft rest area with hands-on activities for children, including a cinematic experience.

RSLWA Kings Park Dawn Service

Where: Kings Park, Fraser Avenue, West Perth
When: Wednesday, 25 April, from 6am

The dawn service will be conducted at the State War Memorial on Fraser Avenue commencing at 6am precisely. Lights will go out and all will be silent from 5.50am as the service starts.

RSLWA recommends participants arrive from 4am onwards. Some travel delays may occur, so please plan your journey accordingly.

VFW Inaugural ANZAC Day March

Where: Corner St Georges Terrace and Barrack Street, Perth

ALL AMERICAN VETERANS are welcome to march with Australia’s first VFW Post in Perth’s ANZAC Day March. You do not have to be an active VFW member to join us in sharing our American patriotic spirit!

All family members of American veterans are welcome as well! Veterans – don’t forget to wear your full size medals on your left breast. Family members must wear them on the right breast.

AS A ONE TIME INITIATIVE, all current and ex-serving women are invited to march as one in 2018. All ex-service organisations including WRANS, WRAAC, WRAAF, AWAS, Ex Service Women, WVNA, APPVA, RAAN, etc, are invited to participate and proudly parade their banners in one rank at the front of the combined female veteran group. RSLWA Commemorative Service

Where: Perth Concert Hall, St Georges Terrace, Perth
When: Wednesday, 25 April, from 11am to 12pm

The Commemorative Service program will feature the Salvation Army Perth Fortress Band and choir brought together from the Perth Modern School Chamber Choir and Perth Modern School Alumni Singers.

This year the ANZAC Day Commemorative Service will be held at the Perth Concert Hall. This fantastic venue will allow those attending to enjoy a moving service in comfort as well as providing tea and coffee facilities before the service (after the march) and bar facilities on completion of the service.

Please note: the venue will not have assigned seating. As a result guests will be seated in order of arrival.

Where: Axford Park, 129 Scarborough Beach Road, Mount Hawthorn

The City of Vincent, in partnership with Returned Services League of Western Australia Mount Hawthorn Sub-Branch invites you to the 2018 Anzac Day March and Service.

The March will step off at 10.40am on the corner of Flinders and Scarborough Beach Road, and continue down Scarborough Beach Road to Axford Park, on the corner of Oxford Street.

All serving and ex-serving veterans are invited to participate in the Fremantle Anzac Day March and Closing Ceremony.

The President of the Submariners Association Australia WA Branch, Terry Baker wishes to extend a special invitation to all submariners – especially female submariners, to march in Fremantle this year. Participants are requested to form up at 09.45am for a 10.15am step-off. A Closing Ceremony will follow which is expected to conclude at 11.30am.

ANZAC Day Mosman Park

The Rotary Club of Mosman Park-Cottesloe in conjunction with the Mosman Park Sub-Branch of the Returned and Services League (RSL) are hosting a Gunfire Breakfast at the Alf Adams Pavilion, Solomon Street, Mosman Park on Wednesday 25 April, commencing at 7.30am.

The breakfast will be followed by the ANZAC Day Commemoration Service in Memorial Park, on the corner Bay View Terrace and Memorial Drive, Mosman Park at 10am. Seating will be provided and an Auslan interpreter will be translating the service. After 4 years running, the ANZAC Legacy Blues Concert has become an iconic event in the City of Canning and continues to grow. Featuring blues legends from around the world, this is a FREE, family friendly event and all are welcome – including your furry friends!

Join Jandakot Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade, South Coogee Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade, Cockburn Fremantle Pistol Club and Atwell Scouts for the 2018 ANZAC Day Service marking the 103rd anniversary of the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli.

Guests should arrive by 8:15am to Cockburn Fremantle Pistol Club 866 Warton Road Banjup for parking (a parking guide will be posted to event wall, it is NOT recommend to park on Armadale Road) and move along the limestone walkway to the Banjup Memorial Park for the Service to start at 8:30am.

An ANZAC Day March will commence 10.30am leaving from the corner of Pinjarra Road and Leslie Street. This will be followed by an ANZAC Day service at the War Memorial in Leighton Place at 11am. On completion, service people, veterans and members of the public are invited to Mandurah Bowling and Community Centre for fellowship and two-up.

An ANZAC Day March is to be held on Sunday, 22 April, from 10am. An ANZAC Day service will commence at 10.30am at the Nollamara RSL from 8am, to be followed by light entertainment and refreshments. All welcome to attend and dress standards apply.

An ANZAC Day dawn service is to be held from 6am at the cenotaph outside the Nollamara RSL, to be followed by a gunfire breakfast on completion. A light lunch will be available from 12.30pm, followed by two-up at 2pm, and live entertainment from 4pm.

An ANZAC Day dawn service is to be held from 6am at the Memorial at Charles Riley Reserve, to be followed by a gunfire breakfast on completion.

Where: Slouch Hat Memorial Sub-branch, corner Cape Street and Main Street, Osborne Park
When: Wednesday, 25 April, from 6.30am

An ANZAC Day March commencing at 6.35am from Main and Hamilton Streets. A dawn service is to begin follow at the front of the Slouth Hat Memorial Sub-branch, including a Tiger Moth Flypast by the Royal Aero Club, to be followed by a gunfire breakfast by donation with light refreshments on completion.

An ANZAC Day dawn service is to be held from 5.45am at Village Green on Patterson Road, to be followed by a gunfire breakfast at 6.30am.

An ANZAC Day will commence from 10.30am from Wanliss Street, followed by two-up, fellowship and food from 11.30am at the Port Kennedy RSL Sub-branch on Paxton Way, Port Kennedy.

Rockingham ANZAC Day Services & Gunfire Breakfast

When: Wednesday, 25 April, from 5.30am

An ANZAC Day dawn service is to be held from 5.30am at the Cenotaph on Flinders Lane, to be followed by a gunfire breakfast at 7am at the PCYC on Emma Street.

An ANZAC Day March is to commence from Churchill Park 10.30am. An ANZAC Day service will then follow at 11am at the Cenotaph on Flinders Lane.

Where: Scarborough RSL Memorial Garden, corner Shearn Crescent and Millcrest Street, Doubleview

An ANZAC Day slow march is to commence from the Scout Catafalque Party to the Memorial at Scarborough RSL Memorial Garden. An ANZAC Day service will then follow at 3.45pm, with an afternoon tea held at the adjacent Bowling Club on completion.

Where: St Martin In The Field Church, Kensington, and South Perth Memorial Gardens, South Perth
When: ANZAC Day Eve, Tuesday, 24 April & Wednesday, 25 April

An ANZAC Day Eve service is to be held at 7pm at the St Martin In The Fields Church, corner Dyson and Vista Streets, Kensington.

An ANZAC Day service is to be held at South Perth Memorial Gardens, corner South Terrace and Sandgate Streets, South Perth, commencing at 7am. Members of 3 Squadron, The Pilbara Regiment, RSL Members, Scouts and Guides will March from South Terrace to the Memorial. The service is conducted with wreaths laid by various groups, Government Representatives and individuals.
