On ANZAC Day, Rottnest Island commemorates all those who have served their country with a special dawn service set to a picturesque backdrop of the sun rising over the Indian Ocean and Thomson Bay – a view that is truly unique to Rottnest. Following the service, enjoy a free breakfast in the Settlement Mall, live music and ANZAC-themed activities for kids at Heritage Common. Where: Motivate Invigorate Recreate, Glengarry Park, Duncraig

Join us this ANZAC day for a family fun event. Frisbee Golf can be played at any age with no prior skills or ability necessary. Takes usually around 1 – 1.5 hours to complete the 9 holes. BYO morning tea to munch on whilst we give out prizes. Teams of 4-6 can play a round of Frisbee Golf and support our local charity at the same time. York’s ANZAC Stories – Remembering Them

Walk in the footsteps of York’s ANZACS and their families through this major Exhibition commemorating the people of York in WW1. This exhibit features a contemporary art exhibition as well as a soft rest area with hands-on activities for children, including a cinematic experience.

The dawn service will be conducted at the State War Memorial on Fraser Avenue commencing at 6am precisely. Lights will go out and all will be silent from 5.50am as the service starts.

RSLWA Commemorative Service
Where: Perth Concert Hall, St Georges Terrace, Perth

The Commemorative Service program will feature the Salvation Army Perth Fortress Band and choir brought together from the Perth Modern School Chamber Choir and Perth Modern School Alumni Singers.
This year the ANZAC Day Commemorative Service will be held at the Perth Concert Hall. This fantastic venue will allow those attending to enjoy a moving service in comfort as well as providing tea and coffee facilities before the service (after the march) and bar facilities on completion of the service.

An ANZAC Day dawn service is to be held from 6am at the cenotaph outside the Nollamara RSL, to be followed by a gunfire breakfast on completion. A light lunch will be available from 12.30pm, followed by two-up at 2pm, and live entertainment from 4pm.

Members of 3 Squadron, The Pilbara Regiment, RSL Members, Scouts and Guides will March from South Terrace to the Memorial. The service is conducted with wreaths laid by various groups, Government Representatives and individuals.
