Don’t go into hibernation these July School Holidays! Experience the best winter has to offer at the City of Perth Winter Fest!
Winter Fest Dome, jump, splash or hide in the giant ball pit filled with 50,000 white balls. The ball pit is open for all ages from 9am to 2pm daily (closes at 12pm on 11 July) until 11 July. Entry is free.
Keep an eye out for children’s workshops and performances in the Dome from 14 July.
Winter Fest Theatre, Featuring magicians, acrobats, comedians, jugglers, singers and dancers, Forrest Place has been transformed into a theatrical hub. From the underground to the epic, the quirky to the eccentric and the hilarious to the highbrow, experience mesmerising theatrical entertainment in the heart of the city.
This is a free event but tickets must be obtained via Oztix in advance for admittance.

Winter Constellation, experience cosying up under this enchanting Winter Constellation of lights, made from an accumulation of 20,000 pixels which changes colour according to the weather.
Rainbow Lane, at dusk the floor will be lit up with the colours of the rainbow.
Winter Tunnel, stroll through the vibrant tunnel and enjoy the view around you. Watch the sky transition into four different Australian winter experiences.
Winter Wellies, Spot the giant gumboots walking out of the water feature at QV1.
LED Rainbow, find the colourful rainbow shining under the Horseshoe Bridge at Yagan Square.
Cloud Canopy, ‘every cloud has a silver lining’, find the clouds shining brightly above Hay St Mall.
Laneway Umbrella, they say winter’s best friend is an umbrella… this installation is definitely an Instagrammer’s best friend!
Snow Mall, visit the Hay Street Mall (west end) to be delighted by the wonders of make-believe snow.

Make it Rain, Kids (and adults) are invited to let their imaginations run wild as a White Room is transformed into an amazing ‘Make it Rain’ artwork.
Open between 10am and 2pm daily, from 2 – 15 July.
Lena Lu’s Design Your Own Bomboloni Donut, for $9 kids can choose from up to 11 toppings to design their very own bomboloni donut. Located at Yagan Square.
Camp Fire Pretzel, for a limited time only, enjoy an original pretzel covered in Belgium chocolate – topped with home-made toasted marshmallow fluff.
