As your baby gets older you will realise that the cost of a family outing increases. So it’s helpful to know of a few places that are free of charge for little ones so that you can make the most of the freebies before it’s too late!
Here is a list of some attractions and activities in Perth that are free until a certain age – Under 5’s means up until they turn 5, and likewise for Under 4’s (until they turn 4), Under 3’s (until they turn 3) and Under 2’s (until they turn 2).

WA Maritime Museum, Fremantle

Adventure World, Bibra Lake

The Maze, home of Outback Splash, features a huge water playground as well as a variety of mazes, a large jumping pillow, mini-golf and koalas.

Caversham Wildlife Park, Swan Valley
Feed the kangaroos, visit the koalas, wombats, dingos and other animals and enjoy keeper talks and farm shows through out the day. Penguin Island Ferry & Discovery Centre, Rockingham
Take the ferry over to the island and see and visit the Fairy penguins at the Discovery Centre. The island & marine park abounds with other wildlife including wild dolphins, sea lions, stingrays, pelicans, kings skinks & over 50 species of sea birds. (Seasonal Sep–Apr).Armadale Reptile Centre
