Small Foot Review

If you are looking for family-friendly movie suitable for all ages, then Small Foot is the movie to see these coming school holidays!

This Warner Bros animated flick has once again proved that kids cartoons are just as fun for adults as they are for kids. Set in a Himalayan peak perched above the clouds, a Yeti community thrives on doing their job all with a smile and an understanding that the ways of their world are all written on a set of mythical stones which were entrusted to the Stonekeeper.

When the loveable and stone abiding Migo (Channing Tatum) accidentally sees a human, otherwise known as a Small Foot it brings him to question everything he has ever known. When he is banished from the community he befriends an outcast group of Yeti’s that have created their own secret society known as the S.E.S. (Smallfoot Evidentiary Society)

Small Foot Review

Meanwhile, Percy (James Cordon) is a human TV presenter with his own wildlife show who is determined to boost his dwindling ratings anyway possible, even if it means shooting fake footage to go viral on social media.

When Migo and Percy’s lives become entwined, what follows is a hilarious journey with a goal to prove to their own kind that the other exists.

The characters are all loveable and quirky, and the jokes are funny and refreshing. The animated scenery is amazing with beautiful alpine scenes, which makes for a visual delight.

The storyline is easy for kids to understand and is thought provoking and encourages the viewer to think outside the box and to have empathy for all creatures big and small.

I really enjoyed this movie, and feel that it is suitable for most age groups with very limited scary scenes.

Make sure you add this to your to-see list these school holidays! In Cinemas Thursday 20th September!
