STEMmates is a local initiative that supports the renewed focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

With today’s economy and tomorrow’s innovations being powered by STEM, we believe that learning should not be confined to the classroom.

STEMmates seeks to help kids engage with fundamental STEM concepts and principles outside the school setting through hands-on activity-based workshops that showcase:

> problem-solving;
> gathering and evaluating evidence; and
> making decisions.
