Wild Kidz is an indoor play center located at 7 Lumsden Rd, Wangara. The center underwent renovations in early 2017 – I have to say, they have made a massive improvement!
Wild Kidz has to be the BEST value for money, $5 entry Monday to Friday 9.30am – 3pm.
There is a large area for under 4’s which will keep the little ones entertained for hours. Complete with 2 bouncy castles, ride on cars, climbing structures, a cubby house, a ball pit with a small slide and heaps of other equipment.
There is also a projector on the wall that plays along to popular nursery rhymes.
The area is fully fenced with plenty of tables and chairs lined up against the fence to allow parents to enjoy a coffee while watching their little ones play.
There is a second fully fenced under 4’s area filled with a variety of different colour, shape and size soft fall building blocks, my toddler absolutely loved building the blocks as high as he could before knocking them down.
The play structure for older children consists of a range of levels with climbing, tunnels, and slides. Some of the video games have been replaced with tables and chairs, but there is still a number of arcade games such as basketball, pinball machines, and racing cars.
One level up on the play structure there is a racing car circuit with electronic racing cars. This only operates on the weekends and after school on Thursdays and Fridays as it isn’t suitable for children under 4.
The back section has been completely transformed, it now has an awesome trampoline area, consisting 15 interconnected trampolines. Children have to be 4+ to use the trampolines, and they can only be used on weekends or Thursdays and Fridays after school. Trampoline passes can be purchased for $1.
In the same area, there are 3 speed slides with a HUGE ball pit at the bottom, there are mats available for those kids who want to go extra fast.
On the other end of the ball pit is the spider tower, kids can make their way up the netted structure and down the corkscrew slide into the ball pit.
The party rooms have also been renovated, there are 3 separate party rooms, the biggest can hold up to 30 children. The party rooms are fitted with projectors that transform the room into the chosen theme. There is a variety of themes to choose including Angry Birds, Dinosaurs, Disco/Dance, Disney, Frozen, Minecraft, Princesses, Superheroes, Star Wars, Underwater and The Wiggles, 2 different themes can be chosen for a party. The staff were kind enough to show us their party rooms, unfortunately we couldn’t take any photos due to copyright reason, but the projectors are AMAZING!!!
In addition to the party rooms, there is a newly built function room available for large group bookings, the room is equipped with tables, chairs and disco lighting.
The café is very reasonably priced, the service was fast and friendly, our meal sizes were big and yummy!
Wild Kidz is open 7 days per week. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR SOCKS – NO SOCKS, NO PLAY!
